OUR HISTORY<\/h2>\n

In order to foster the strengthening of technical and technological education in Colombia, in 2009 the National Ministry of Education created spaces that allowed for the interaction between the directors of institutions at this level of education, in order to structure proposals geared towards incentivizing their positioning as a key axis for competitiveness and productivity in the country.<\/p>\n

The proposal to create a collaboration network between higher technical and technological education institutions emerged from these scenarios of participation \u2013 which to this day bears the name REDTTU<\/strong> -, in order to foster the strengthening of the Teaching, Research, Social Outreach, Management and Internationalization aspects of Higher Education Institutions (IES by its Spanish acronym), creating visibility, recognition and positioning for Technical and Technological Education, thus contributing to the Colombian Education System.<\/p>\n

The REDTTU<\/strong> Incorporation Assembly was held in the city of Cartagena on March 19, 2010, with the participation of the following Higher Education Institutions as founding members:<\/p>\n
